I've only been at L'auberge for private events at second floor and every time has been a blast. It is 100% French. Entertainment is excellent. Food is very yummy and place is cozy and feeling very welcoming. I love everything about the place.

Amazing experience, performers kept it up for 2 hours. Food was delicious. Friendly and caring staff. Would recommend for someone wanting a true medieval experience.

NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A STRONG GRASP OF FRENCH. Amazing food with crazy, medieval-style service with minstrels and dance. Expect to dance. Don't expect utensils. Expect to dink. Expect to get dirty. Pricey but worth it. The burgers are good but go for the crazy meats (boar, duck, etc.). Absolutely recommended.
