  Could not chew through the NY striploin. Order filet mignon if you want good meat. The place is beautiful, however. The coffee tasted burnt on a Sunday at 6:20pm. The service was good. These are my notes. The whiskey peppercorn sauce tastes like corn starch and pepper.

  Very nice ambience...decent steak ordered the new York strip/ hubby ribeye ...did not reserve wait time was extremely long cannot fault them for that...the peppercorn sauce was not the best

  Decent menu at fair prices. The ambiance is a little rowdy and the clientele is a mix of young party people, business men and some couples here and there. First thing I noticed was their lighting. It was so dark, it took my eyes a little while to adjust after walking in. The hostess on the René-Levesque entrance greeted me but my eyes we still adjusting so it took me more than a few seconds to respond to her and so she responded back in a very rude manner. The wait was not as long as we had expected and the waiter was nice. The drinks and food arrived rather quickly. I asked for a medium rare steak but they gave me a medium. Everyone one else got their medium rare just right. Bottle service wasn't great. Perhaps because they were busy. One of us got up to refill our glasses. At the end of the night, we noticed one of the bills was charged with a meal and a cocktail none of us had ordered. And right before leaving we were trying to take a picture and a different waiter offered to take one for us so everyone would be in it. Overall it's a cozy and friend place. I wouldn't return because I love it there but if friend and family want to get together, the keg is a good enough casual steak place.
