  Great service. Very committed personnel. Tasty food, cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere....so nice experience.

  I used to love coming to this restaurant. But it's been a year or so that the service and quality of food is going down. Maybe you have notice that the staff changes pretty often too. Anyhow, today my dad ordered a steak & frites sauce poivron - cuisson medium (a classic). After his first bite, he says to my boyfriend and I "this steak tastes weird? No fresh meat" We had, my boyfriend and I, a small portion to try. Indeed, the steak had a bizarre taste, and on top of that it smelled extremely old. We asked the waiter to change the meat and he returned saying that the cheff says the meat is suposse to taste like that, and the only thing possible was to cooked again the same meat. While he was saying so, the cheff came out and explained that the meat is 3A with lot of blood and what we tasted what the blood of the meat. I don't even know if the chef smelled or tasted the steak but hey! He came out and explain that to us. We assumed it was that and all ended there. My dad however, was still disgusted by the taste of the meat that he asked the cheff to make him a hamburger instead. So far so good, we're not complicated people. At the end, the waiter comes with our bill and says that he has to charge not only the steak that we didn't eat but also the hamburger....WHAT??? But since it is Father's Day he only billed the steak. I was shocked and insulted !!! I mean, my whole family has work in restoration including me, and it's the first time that I hear customer are charged both plates......the one he eat and the one he didn't. We spoke with the waiter, we understand he's not to blame and we told him so. There was apparently nothing he could do - fine with us, it's not for a $10 difference between plates that we're going to make a deal. It wasn't like we were in a Michelin restaurant. However, we believe it's not right the wait they billed customers, specially when they didn't eat the meal.

  Saturday March 19th. Busy hockey night. Most seats reserved so we were sat at the bar. TV volume too loud. I guess water is just an option now. Quick to order, slower service, but good fresh food. Salad still crunchy. Main meal to at least 30 minutes to be served. Pleasant staff. Food decently priced, add a drink or two and the bill goes to the roof.
