  I am the guy from Cans 4 Cash Collection Service (C4CCS) and I frequently bring refundable bottles and cans to this Metro and we shop there too. The complete staff at this Metro should be applauded. Everyone is always in a great mood, they are all awesome and when you enter the store you are treated with respect and in a friendly manner. C4CCS frequents hundreds of grocery stores all over Montreal and this particular Metro gets our 5 star rating. We observe and review many groceries all over the island. How other bottle and can collectors are treated is very important to us as we stand up for these industrious hardworking individuals moreover we communicate our professional opinion to every client, business, and organization we humbly serve. Hats off Metro Bellemare :)

  The store itself is physically small, and the product selection isn't as good as the Maxi down the street on Wellington (except for the beer selection - they have a great beer selection!!). I often find my grocery bill is about $10-$20 more here than it would be at the Maxi on Wellington. I'm eagerly awaiting the expansion to this place - it (and Verdun) need a larger, central grocery store.

  It's closed at 9pm even on Thurs and Fridays... Food is expensive and they stick "special" stickers on everything when it's not even on special. From one week to another the price even may decrease when it had the special sticker on it the week before. Fresh food are always suspicious... I just go when I have no other option...
