- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆If you want good Punjabi Indian food, NOT the right place. Photos need to be updated, does NOT look like that at all. VERY poorly lit, hard to see menus. Atmosphere does not fit with the set up. Very expensive for the food. Indian food doesn't cost a lot to make based on the prices. $16-$20 for mains that should be costing $8-$12. I've eaten Indian food in many cities as I am Indian. The Samosas (pastry filled with spices and items) were expensive as well as you can get 3 for $1 usually. We asked for ketchup and we're told, "the sauce given is the right sauce." It wouldn't have hurt the guy to give us ketchup as we had a kid with us. Very tiny tables but tasty water and Chicken Tikka. Uses candles to keep food warm which was convenient, thus the 2 stars. The complimentary bread at the beginning was terrible too. Soggy and smelled weird, maybe because of the oil used. Naan were not traditional naan either. Restaurant needs to improve food. Service was okay, not bad. It was weird having the owner/manager randomly coming to our table and just staring at us while we ate. Just tried to sell everything when we asked for recommendations. Menu is half English and half French which is inconvenient. As you will see titles in English, but description is French. Some descriptions are English but titles are French. Very unprofessional and confusing. Felt bad for the server who didn't seem to know the food well.By Reena Kadri, June 30, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This place is a total rip off!! Expensive, tasteless, less quantity and wait at least one hour before your order arrives. Server at the time of taking order mentioned that need at least minimum 15% service charges. I dont mind paying 15% but the way he said it was insulting. And best part, no soap in the washroom.By Karan Bhanot, March 30, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Awesome food and service. Granted we were literally the only customers there that day because of a massive snowstorm, but they really made us feel welcome. And the food was, IMHO, perfect. So often, Indian food, though delicious, leads to... let's say undesired gastro-chemical reactions. But at Devi, the flavour was all there with absolutely zero post-meal difficulties. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Canada.By Filippo Salustri, October 17, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2 hours for the food to start arriving. I missed my son's birth waiting for water. Food doesn't compensate for time loss.By Maxime Beaudry, September 04, 2016
