  This is not a Tim Horton's you want to go to on your way to work in the morning... they're particularly slow at the bagel station. For example, last week there was one person who was making my bagel and decided they needed to stop for a moment to get something from the back... 4 other employees stood around wondering where that person went, audibly toying with the idea that they should takeover to finish my order (but nobody did). Then finally the original employee came back with a bunch of scoops/spoons... but didn't even need to use them for anything! So in the end I waited several minutes for somebody to start making my order (amidst several other able-bodied employees), only to stop to get clean unused spoons which had no pressing need for my order (nor were there any other customers). Maybe that seems like a single on-off thing, but I find there are lots of examples where that happens here.

  This location has some of the most friendly staff I've ever met at a fast food establishment. Karl (I think he's the manager) even gets to know the regular customer's names and orders by memory and greets them by name. I know it's just a Tim Horton's, but the staff here really make it a better experience than most.
