  Probably the best steak in Montreal. I read the negative reviews and have no idea how they could be honest. Very prompt and attentive service. Jimmy was great with service. In fact stop in and ask for Jimmy. Tell him Joey B Sent you. Ciao'

  Atmosphere was comfortable. Nothing too fancy but not too casual either. Food was great all around. Staff members were courteous. Great spot. Highly recommended.

  We got married here and the service and food was exceptional. Rustic bur classic design with a nice atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to ensure a great night and kept the wine flowing! The food was delicious (some of our guests even went back for lunch the next day. A bit pricey but its Old Montreal so very relative and worth the cost.They also have the best brunch (but pricey). Can't wait to go back and reminisce.

  Ate here on Canada day. Food was slow to arrive (>1 hour). The wait would have been understandable, but I was disturbed that the tables next to us who were sat down much later than us got their food first. The waitress said it was because they didn't order an appetizer. Then when our food did arrive, I got the wrong cut of steak. The manager, however, promptly corrected the order and waitress gave us more bread. But still, that was another 15 minutes of excruciating wait time while my wife finished her meal. My ribeye finally arrived, and the saving grace, and the reason why I'm giving 4 stars, is that it was a great steak, done perfectly.
